About

An engineering company, deliberately small

Kulander Labs is run by the engineers who do the work — no sales layer, no junior bench. Here's who we are and how we think about building systems.

Who we are

Kulander Labs was founded by two engineers who have been designing and building enterprise systems since the mid-2000s — close to two decades each, largely in Java ecosystems, delivering projects for telecommunications, pharmaceutical and financial-services companies.

Integration work leaves little room for optimism: a lost message is a lost order, and reliability is the whole job. Some of the integrations we built more than ten years ago are still running in production today. The habits behind that — build it properly, monitor everything, own the outcome — are the foundation Kulander Labs works on.

The company exists to bring that discipline to businesses that could never justify an enterprise integration team: SMB and mid-market companies with real operational problems and no appetite for a two-year IT project. We keep the company deliberately small — the engineers who scope your system are the ones who build and run it.

How we build

No shortcuts on the fundamentals

Kubernetes, high-availability databases, monitoring and CI/CD are standard, not extras. It's the same stack we run our own products on.

Own the outcome

We don't hand over a system and disappear. We host it, watch it, and stay responsible for it running.

Fast, but not fragile

Speed comes from reusing our proven platform — not from cutting corners that break in production.

If you want proof of how we work, read the technical write-ups on our engineering blog.

A short discovery call is enough for us to tell you what we'd build, how long it takes, and what it costs.
